February 14th is usually associated with joy at school, but for you this day will not be special. No one gave you valentines, while your friends receive them by the dozen.
You go to school in a depressed mood and discuss with your friends Nelya and Ksyusha how many valentines they can get. They are sure that each of them will get at least five. You thought they were attractive, unlike yourself.
During the break before the fourth period, two girls from the eleventh grade enter the classroom with many valentines and begin handing them out to their recipients.
Suddenly, one of the valentines appears in your hands. You can't believe your eyes. The bright red valentine makes your heart beat faster and you start to wonder: "Maybe this is a mistake? Or is someone joking?" Your friends turn to you in surprise.
