Doc and Hank

appearance:

During Madness Combat 1 to Madness Combat 2: Redeemer, Hank physically looks no different from an ordinary grunt. In Madness Combat 3: Avenger, his head is wrapped in a bandage due to being shot in the head earlier. In Madness Combat 4: Apotheosis he has bandages covering the wound in his stomach area.

In Madness Combat 5: Depredation, Hank's body and most of his head and torso are now covered in bandages. He wears a black jacket, what appears to be a surgical mask, and red goggles. In Madness Combat 6: Antipathy Hank looks mostly the same as the last episode but has protruding teeth and a metal plate in place of a jaw, due to his decapitation at the end of Madness Combat 5: Depredation along with a shirt on his chest due to being impaled on the warning sign. In Madness Combat 7: Consternation Hank looks similar to his last appearance except he has his coat closed, a bandana around his messy mouth, fingerless gloves, and black goggles with red lenses.

During Madness Combat 9: Aggregation Hank is finally revived and given a new appearance; he is roughly twice his original size, has no cross hairs on his face, a robotic-looking head, and a crustacean-looking arm with a claw for a hand. In Madness Combat 10: Abrogation when Hank takes the halo, a mysterious power from this energy flows from his body, giving him electrical powers and repairing the damage to his arm, growing a hand in place of his claw.

Appearance:

He wears sensor glasses with a detector that resembles a doctor's headlamp, a shielded air filter and bandages around his jaw, a black collared vest, and a dark gray shirt.

Personality 2BDamned seems to be the most strategic of the protagonists. Most of his actions seem to reflect that he knows what he's doing more than some of the other characters. This manifests as a discontented and cynical attitude, where he tends to complain about the situations he finds himself in and berate others when things don't go as planned.

He also appears to be more tactical and cautious than the other characters, as reflected in his fighting style, which has been shown to place emphasis on defence, deception and subversion. In this way he has been able to avoid direct confrontation by deflecting and ambushing his attackers.

Despite his seriousness, to a certain extent, he also seems to take his job less seriously. From DISSENTER, after killing the Soldier, up close, there are messages that come out of the laptop reading which are 2BDamned mocking the Soldier for falling for the fake message.

Skills:

2BDamned has demonstrated significant technical prowess, similar to Deimos. Together with Fellow09, he managed to coordinate a rescue effort to get Deimos out of Purgatory. When faced with a raid, 2BDamned preferred to take advantage of AAHW's communications by hacking into a soldier's laptop and tricking him into wiping out most of his own equipment, before going out and wiping out what was left himself.

2BDamned is also implied to have knowledge of how the Madness Combat universe works, given that he either knew how to perform the operation to save Deimos from the afterlife in the first place, or was instructed to do so by some higher authority. He also restores Hank's memory from an Improbability Drive backup using a network share in the opening sequence of Madness Combat 9.5, which would require intimate knowledge that Hank was in The Other Place at the time, pinpointing his location and initiating an upload. 2BDamned may have even done this for Hank whenever he died.

Powers and Abilities:

Hank is an excellent melee fighter, capable of eliminating dozens of enemies in close combat using melee weapons or his bare hands.

One of his most notable abilities is his marksmanship, which is best seen in Madness Combat 5: Depredation where he uses Bullet-Time to shoot down a group of zombies while in mid-air in less than a few seconds. He also shows off his incredible ability by jumping several meters while spinning to dodge with ease. He possesses reflexes capable enough to dodge or deflect bullets without much difficulty. He can apparently spot enemies behind him.

He has also shown to have exceptional strength, especially in Madness Combat 6: Antipathy where he can be seen decapitating an agent with just his hands, and in Madness Combat 7: Consternation where he is seen ripping out the heart of a grunt.

Hank's damage resistance does not appear to be superior to any other character's, however his resistance to pain is phenomenal, having been seen withstanding tremendous blows such as in Madness Combat Consternation when he is hit and thrown a great distance by Mag Agent: Torture or when being hit by Tricky in his demon form. His combat abilities remain unaffected, even after being maimed or fatally wounded.

After being revived in Madness Combat 9: Aggregation, he gains a new appearance, looking larger and with a mutated arm, which has the power to deliver electric punches, an ability strong enough to damage the Auditor. In Madness Combat 11, the Auditor grants him new powers, such as telekinesis, which is used to throw a floating island at Tricky.

Personality:

Hank is shown to care about little besides fighting and killing, even seeming to enjoy it by claiming to be having a good time. He rarely flinches from anything whether it be pain or encountering supernatural enemies and simply focuses on the next target.

Hank rarely shows pain, no matter how battered he is, the closest Hank has ever shown to a moment of weakness was in Madness Combat 7: Consternation. Hank was willing to accept death rather than be constantly revived only to be painfully tortured to death by Tricky over and over again. He then spends most of said episode running away from Tricky, marking the first time he has ever done so.

From time to time Hank has shown to have concern for his teammates, for example in Madness Combat 10: Abrogation when the Auditor is about to explode, Hank grabs Sanford and escapes on the stairs or in Madness Combat 11: Expurgation, Sanford not being able to face all of Tricky's henchmen, Hank pushes him aside and covers him.
