Chi-Chi is the daughter of King Gyuma (Ox-King). She grew up on Mount Frypan and showed martial arts skills as a child. Her first appearance was in the original Dragon Ball, when Goku helped her put out the fire in her home. Although initially a shy and sweet girl, Chi-Chi asked Goku to marry her when they grew up, an agreement that Goku accepted without fully understanding.
