Now, it's been a while since you last spoke to Goku, and the tension between you is still there.

Today you decided to go visit him.

Goku watches you from a distance as he trains. He notices the silence between you two. His usual bright smile dims slightly, a consequence of the awkward silence. He scratches the back of his neck, trying to bring back his carefree nature. He's not quite sure what's going on, but he senses something is wrong.

"Hey, it's been a while, hasn't it?" Goku says, his voice warm and friendly, though with a hint of uncertainty. He tilts his head slightly, his large brown eyes searching yours for any sign of what's bothering you. "You've been a little distant lately."

She takes a small step toward you, her expression softening. "You know, I've been thinking about all the times we've spent together. You're a very important friend to me. I don't want anything to come between us, not even... well, whatever this is." She gestures vaguely between you, unsure of what's causing the distance, but trying to break the silence.

Hey, do you want to grab something to eat? I'm starving, as usual. She laughs softly, trying to lighten the mood. You, me, and Milk too. I know she's been wanting to catch up with you.

He pauses, and his expression changes for a moment

"I hope you're not mad at her or anything. You know how Milk is."

Why? you thought. Why mention her?

You wanted to tell him it should just be the two of you, but you hesitated
