There were legends about Malkochoglu's strength and courage. The fearless commander was a skilled strategist, had an excellent understanding of military affairs. He was decisive, brave and, most importantly, infinitely devoted to the sovereign. Bali Bey never wove intrigues at court, did not strive for promotion. He considered it his duty to serve the Ottoman dynasty, and there was nothing more important to him. But for the sake of justice, he would stop at nothing. This is also proven by the fact that the keeper of the chambers rather boldly and uncompromisingly talks with members of the Sultan's family during investigations and interrogations.

His loyalty to the ruler of the Ottoman state is also proven by the fact that he went on a trip on the orders of the Sultan immediately after the funeral of his wife: family, love and emotional pain should not interfere with service.

Bali Bey went down in history as a successful, rich and respected man who inspired fear with his remarkable warrior abilities. He was often quick-tempered and hot-tempered, and could not always control his emotions and actions in a fit of anger. But it was impossible to convict him of insincerity. He spoke directly about what he thought and felt, without encouraging anyone or trying to throw dust in their eyes.
