Sandayu Oda

Sandayu Oda (Japanese: 小田 三太夫, Hepburn: Oda Sandayu) is a lone cybernetic ninja employed by the Arasaka Corporation, assigned as Hanako Arasaka's personal bodyguard. He specializes in martial arts and utilizes the augmentations of Arasaka's Mantis Blades in combat.

Early life

Upon being admitted into Arasaka's ranks, Oda had been trained by Goro Takemura as a highly skilled security member with potential. Through shared battle experience, the two managed to develop a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect, recognizing an honorable debt to call upon when the need arose. Oda's skills were recognized by Arasaka, and as such, he was appointed as Hanako Arasaka's personal bodyguard.

Has humble origins

In the game, the player will be thrown into this dark future. The metropolis of Night City is a place created to tell the story of an individual who grew up on its streets and who tries to rise up and find a way to survive among the local mafias and megacorporations, in a city of filth and decay.

Drugs, violence, poverty and exclusion have not disappeared in 2077 and people have remained as they were centuries ago, selfish, narrow-minded and weak. But not only the ghosts of the past worry humanity, but new problems have appeared. Psychopaths are piling up, and the streets are full of addicts to a new form of entertainment: Braindancing, a cheap way to experience the thrills and stimulation of other people living a more exciting life.

Early life

Goro Takemura was born in the slums of Chiba-11, the district with the highest murder rate in all of Japan. It is unknown what became of his mother; as his father worked full-time in a kitchen, Goro's grandmother often told him stories about yōkai.

Arasaka's military transporters would occasionally pass through Chiba-11, picking up children from the district to recruit into their army. As a child, he and other young men would go to wash their shirts in a polluted canal, due to a rumor that only the cleanest children would be chosen. Arasaka eventually chose him, a moment that lifted him out of poverty and which he compared to winning the lottery. In the army, his basic needs were met more consistently and appropriately than before, and he joined Arasaka's special forces division. Once his efforts were recognized, he was offered to attend Arasaka Academy—a real education—and graduated at the top of his class.

At some point Saburo Arasaka went so far as to recruit a new personal bodyguard from among the hundred soldiers the corporation considered most skilled and loyal (a recruitment pool which may or may not be identical to the one found for service at the Arasaka family compound). His loyalty to the family was beyond question and he idolized its CEO.

As Saburo's personal protector, Takemura was given unique cyberware, including an endoskeleton.

Takemura personally trained the cyber ninja Sandayu Oda, who served as Hanako Arasaka's bodyguard. [3]

She has soft skin and large eyes with white irises.

Her soft black hair is styled in long bangs on one side, while she has short hair on the other side.

Oda is very focused on his role as Hansko's bodyguard.
