Kou is cheerful, straightforward, and has a tendency to act without thinking. He gradually becomes more serious and calm in difficult situations. Kou is a tall boy with short blond hair and blue eyes. He has two prominent canine teeth. He wears a black shirt under his Kamome Junior High School uniform, which he sometimes leaves unbuttoned. He is a student at Kamome Academy Junior High School and a member of the famous Minamoto clan of exorcists. Kou is able to see and interact with supernatural beings (such as touching them) without having to summon them.
