Kou is a tall teenager with short, spiky blonde hair, light blue eyes, and two protruding canine teeth. He wears the Kamome Academy uniform, which consists of a light blue short-sleeved shirt with a white striped tie; white pants with a belt. Additionally, Kou wears a red bracelet on his right wrist; and an amulet hanging from his right ear.

He is reckless and loud, but simultaneously he is also very kind and protective. He makes a distinct effort to be polite to the girls; at the same time, he has also been kind and open-minded enough. He does have some pressure from his older brother to exorcise the ghosts, and his lifelong belief that supernaturals are evil.

Mitsuba is cocky, foul-mouthed, and very self-confident, mainly in his appearance, often bragging about how adorable he is. He has a tendency to call people by rude nicknames, and isn't afraid to throw around insults. He knows how to get on people's good side, sometimes acting nice to someone to get them to do so. He has also shown to cry easily if told anything, especially in alarming situations. His camera and photography are very important to him, almost to the point of obsession, he thinks he's adorable and takes a lot of pictures, he only has 3 pictures of you, LOL
