Relationship with Rimuru’s Main Subordinates Benimaru Benimaru is Rimuru’s main general. Diablo respects him greatly because he is competent, disciplined, and powerful. Although Diablo likely considers himself intellectually superior, he acknowledges that Benimaru is one of Tempest’s most reliable pillars. There is a silent rivalry between them regarding who serves Rimuru better. Benimaru sometimes distrusts just how extreme and manipulative Diablo can be. Shion Shion has a very amusing relationship with Diablo. She is emotional, impulsive, and fiercely protective of Rimuru. Diablo respects her loyalty, but he probably thinks she acts too much on emotion. Even so, they completely agree on one thing: they would destroy any threat to Rimuru without hesitation. Shuna Shuna is calm, elegant, and extremely perceptive. Diablo usually treats her with considerable courtesy. He understands that Shuna has strong emotional influence over Rimuru and is far more intelligent than she appears. She seems to tolerate Diablo’s exaggerated personality quite well, although she most likely realizes he is completely obsessed. Souei Souei works as a spy and assassin. Diablo greatly respects his infiltration skills and efficiency. Both possess cold, calculating personalities, so they understand each other relatively well. However, Diablo still surpasses him greatly in raw power and experience. Hakurou Hakurou earns Diablo’s respect because of his wisdom and swordsmanship. Even though Hakurou does not possess the absurd power of the Primordials, Diablo recognizes his technique and experience as impressive. Ranga Ranga is one of Rimuru’s most loyal companions. Diablo almost sees him as an extremely useful and powerful pet. He does not completely underestimate him, but he does view him as mentally simpler.

Carrera Carrera is far more explosive and destructive. She loves battles and chaos, especially using devastating magic. Diablo considers her troublesome, but useful. He knows Carrera can destroy entire armies almost for fun, so he usually tries to direct her energy toward objectives that benefit Rimuru. Carrera, in turn, deeply respects Diablo. Even if she does not always enjoy following orders, she understands that Diablo is one of the most terrifying demons in existence. Ultima Ultima is sadistic, playful, and extremely dangerous. Diablo seems to view her as a troublesome child with enormous talent. Ultima enjoys bothering others, but she rarely crosses certain lines with Diablo because she fully understands what he is capable of. There is an entertaining dynamic between them: Ultima often acts carefree while Diablo maintains his classic serious elegance. Even so, both share an incredibly cruel demonic nature when it comes to Rimuru’s enemies. Rain and Misery Rain and Misery serve Guy Crimson directly. Diablo has known them for ages. Although he does not interact with them as much as with the other Primordials, there is mutual respect built on age and power. Rain is often irritated by Diablo’s theatrical personality, while Misery is calmer and more observant. Both understand that Diablo is someone who should never be underestimated. ─── Diablo and Rimuru Diablo’s most important relationship is, of course, with Rimuru. Diablo practically develops a religious devotion toward him. Everything begins when Rimuru summons him during a major conflict. From the very moment Diablo witnesses the way Rimuru treats others and sees his enormous potential, he becomes fascinated. For a Primordial, serving someone would normally be humiliating. But Diablo views Rimuru as a superior existence worthy of absolute admiration. From that point onward, he becomes Rimuru’s butler, bodyguard, diplomat, and personal executioner.

Diablo and the Other Primordials

The Primordial Demons are legendary entities associated with colors. Among them are Guy Crimson (Red), Testarossa (White), Carrera (Yellow), Ultima (Violet), Rain (Blue), Misery (Green), and Diablo/Noir (Black). Diablo is considered one of the strangest among them because, for centuries, he avoided getting too involved in power struggles. While the others sought domination or entertainment, he was obsessed with finding something “truly interesting.” That search finally ended when he met Rimuru.

Guy Crimson

Guy Crimson is probably the strongest and oldest Primordial. He has known Diablo for an incredibly long time and fully understands how dangerous he can be. The two share a peculiar relationship: they deeply respect each other, yet constantly provoke and tease one another. Guy believes Diablo has always been unpredictable and strange, even by demonic standards.

When Guy discovers that Diablo willingly chose to serve Rimuru, he is genuinely shocked. For a Primordial to kneel before someone is almost unthinkable to him. Even so, he realizes Rimuru must be extraordinary if he managed to gain Diablo’s complete devotion. In a way, Guy views Diablo’s obsession with amusement and curiosity.

Testarossa

Testarossa has a very interesting relationship with Diablo. Both are incredibly intelligent and refined. Testarossa usually acts elegant and calm, but beneath her perfect manners lies brutal cruelty. She recognizes Diablo’s monstrous abilities and understands that he is mentally several steps ahead of most beings.

When Testarossa enters Rimuru’s service, Diablo feels satisfied that someone so competent will work for his master. Even so, there is still a subtle competitive atmosphere between them. Both enjoy demonstrating efficiency and intellectual superiority. She is probably the Primordial with whom Diablo can have the most sophisticated conversations.
