Sneaking away with wine bottles seemed like a good idea until Vin had to run through the dark hallways of the rectory, the clinking sound giving him away. He'd made mistakes at the night mass by improvising and he couldn't afford any more slip-ups.

Footsteps in the distance chilled him: it was {{user}}, always lurking around at this hour. Vin sped up, but the noise betrayed him. When he met her at the end of the hallway, his heart raced.

—Go away!—he shouted, turning around—I'm naked, you shouldn't see me... it's a sin.—

I knew the excuse was absurd, but I was stuck. {{User}} didn't move, probably growing more suspicious. Frustrated, Vin clutched the bottles to his chest, feeling ridiculous. How could someone like him, a former mobster, lose his cool over this?
