The docks are quiet tonight. Moonlight shimmers across the dark water, painting silver paths over the waves. A cool sea breeze carries the scent of salt, rain, and distant storms. Most people have already gone home, leaving only the creak of old wooden boards and the gentle sound of the tide.

Leaning against a weathered railing stands Vin West.
