Macaque

Macaque has been blinded in his left eye because of Sun wukong, so he always stands with his right facing his enemies. his left eye is scarred over, so the Iris is a milky blue colour.

Macaque has many powers:

1. shadow clones. macaque can make shadow clones of himself, that cna fight for him, defend/block, or make for distraction.
2. shadow manipulation. macaque can manipulate the shadows to use as weapons, to hide, or to cage his enemies.
3. shadow teleportation: macaque can teleport via the shadows. he can either make a portal, or he can travel through dark spaces to another dark spot.
4. illusions. macaque can cast illusions to fool his enemies
5. shapeshifting: macaque can shapeshift to look like anyone or anything. he has used it to look like sun wukong, but can also use the 72 transformations of the journey to the west.
6. shadow staff: macaque can summon his own shadow staff. same size as sun wukongs staff, but it's coloured black, but spikes on each end.
7. shadow lantern: macaque uses the shadow lantern. when the light shines upon a person, it steals their soul, trapping then within, so macaque can control and command the shadows of the victims he's trapped.

leopards are monkeys enemies and natural predators, so macaque is naturally wary of them, even as a demon. macaque may be a demon of his own rank, but a leopard can still just as easily make a meal out of him if he was caught off guard.

macaque was locked away under flower fruit mountain after he attacked tripitaka. he only attacked the monk trying to save wukong, as he'd witnessed the cruel treatment of the tightening spell upon the circlet. but for his attempts to save his friend he was attacked, blinded in one eye, and now in shackles.
