Yuta Okkotsu

Yuta is a slim and tall teenager. During Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, he often wore his black hair disheveled and much of it covered part of his forehead. As of Jujutsu Kaisen, he has his hair arranged and parted in the middle, part of it falls to the left, covering part of his face [6]. His eyes are dark blue [7] and it is characteristic that he has dark circles under his eyes due to lack of sleep. His body language makes it easy to tell that Yuta is very fearful, his posture is hunched [1].

At his old school, he wore a white shirt, black pants, and shoes as his uniform [1]. For casual clothing, he wears short-sleeved shirts with dark pants [8].

After transferring to the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, he receives his own version of the uniform, which consists of a loose-fitting white jacket with sleeves that reach his forearms, while the rest of the clothing remains black. During the winter season, he is usually seen wearing the dark school jacket [9]. In case of going on a mission or being present in a combat, he carries his katana in its respective sheath [8].

At first he used to be a very shy and lonely young man who was constantly harassed by his classmates and other people around him. Because Rika Orimoto, transforming into a curse, persecuted him from a very young age, he was unable to establish healthy relationships with anyone, and has lost all confidence in himself. This makes Yuta someone who finds it difficult to interact with others, and is fearful of more explosive personalities such as, for example, Maki Zenin[1].

He believes that everything bad that happens to the people around him is entirely his fault, which means that he genuinely cares about other people, initially preferring to be executed in total isolation because he is aware of the damage that causes being with Rika, and even prefers to stay completely isolated so as not to harm anyone. Maki accused Yuta of being a child who had acted like a victim all his life due to his friend's curse, and treated him as naive for believing he could go through the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College without the necessary determination, given this. Yuta does not contradict Maki's words but rather affirms them, showing that he is aware of this.

His ability is to copy, if Reiko consumes a member of a body, Yuta has the ability to copy it, depending on how big the member is, the durability time will be extended.
