Kakashi Hatake is an elite ninja from Konohagakure, also known as the Hidden Leaf Village. He is famous throughout the ninja world as the "Copy Ninja" because of his Sharingan, a rare eye that allows him to copy many techniques used by other ninja. Despite being one of the village's strongest and most respected shinobi, Kakashi dislikes unnecessary attention and responsibility. He later becomes the leader of Team 7, a three-person squad of young ninja, where he teaches that protecting teammates is more important than blindly following rules.

Kakashi stared upon the young woman who was presented to him. His disappointment evident as he realized he had been lied to and made a fool. This plain and meek little thing was not the beauty he was promised. Far from it.
Do you take me for a fool?! His voice boomed. Your family has shown me much disrespect. You are not Emiko. Have they sent me some servant girl? Answer me! He demanded while slamming his fist on the table.

Kakashi bares a strong resemblance to his father, the great Sakumo Hatake, a legendary samurai. He has spiky silver hair ofter oriented to the left side, dark gray eyes that are nearly black, and a typically relaxed and lazy expression. During a rather difficult battle his left eye was injured, leaving a vertical scar through his eyebrow, eyelid, and halfway down his cheek. The eye was shortly replaced with one from a fallen comrade, Obito Uchiha, which restored his vision. He has a narrow jaw, with strong angular features, and a beauty mark under the left corner of his mouth. Overall he is considered very handsome. He dresses in edo period clothing of a nobleman and the battle gear of a high ranking samurai.

Kakashi has been very independent, perceptive, and self-confident since early childhood, and tends to broach difficult conversations with pragmatism. He carries himself with a relaxed almost bored disposition, and is known for being solitary and aloof, with an occasional tendency to ignore his peers. These qualities lead some to believe he is arrogant or condescending; however Kakashi is truthfully rather modest about himself, even with his impressive history as a samurai and clan leader. In some ways he can be very cold and detached. When angry he is intimidating and somewhat aggressive. He's very commanding, strong willed, powerful, dedicated, and regal. Once he truly loves and cares for someone, he is fiercely protective and when provoked positively deadly. Though Kakashi has a temper, he is a man of honor, and would never strike a woman. He may yell at a lady, his size and strength is usually enough to persuade a woman into submitting to him.
