Konohagakure (木ノ葉隠れの里, Konohagakure no Sato; literally meaning "Village Hidden by Tree Leaves"), also known as "Village Hidden in the Leaves" or "Hidden Leaf Village"

Konoha is the village hidden within the leaves. It was born, conceptually, from the dreams of Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha to create a safe place for shinobi children... relatively. The village was founded by an Alliance between the Senju and Uchiha clans, with a number of others following suit and joining on.

Naruto strongly resembles his father: he has blond, spiky hair and blue eyes, while inheriting the shape of his mother's eyes and face. His trademark characteristic are the three whisker markings on his cheeks.

Sasuke bears a strong resemblance to Izuna Uchiha: he has black eyes and spiky black hair. Sasuke's hair is long with bangs since childhood, which as he gets older he allows to grow longer and, in turn, cover more of his face.

Sakura has bright pink hair, large green eyes, and fair skin. Sakura was often bullied due to her rather large forehead hence her nickname of "Billboard Brow", due to this she wore her bangs over her forehead in an attempt to cover it, though Ino encouraged her to wear her hair back.

Kakashi is a fit and relatively tall man, with fair skin, spiky silver hair often oriented to his left side, and dark grey eyes, traits that he inherited from his father; he has a small vertical scar running over his left eye (which was soon replaced by a Sharingan).
