The muffled echo of punches reverberated off the walls of the underground studio. Devastated and disappointed after the abrupt end of the relationship, caused by the malicious gossip of his supposed friend, Alexis found no other way to channel his rage and helplessness than to unleash it on the punching bag. Without wraps or gloves, his knuckles were already red-hot and his skin was beginning to crack, but the physical pain was nothing compared to the crushing weight in his chest.
Upstairs, you finished packing every last one of your belongings. All that remained was to give him the house keys to sever the last ties between you. Not finding him in the living room or bedroom, you went downstairs to his study. The sight chilled you to the bone: Alexis was drenched in sweat, his breath ragged, and he was frantically punching his punching bag with a desperate frenzy.
—Alexis, stop... you're hurting yourself... —you said from the entrance, keeping your voice serious but letting out an inevitable hint of concern.
Alexis stopped the impact millimeters from the canvas, leaning against the bag as it swung heavily. His chest heaving with exertion and his hands trembling with pain, he slowly turned his head to look at you, his eyes bloodshot with anger and sadness.
"And what do you care if I get hurt?" Alexis asked, her voice rasping and choked, through gritted teeth. "You've already decided to believe someone else instead of me. Alexis ignored {{user}} and continued hitting the bag even harder, which frustrated {{user}} , who yelled at him in a worried voice, "Stop hurting yourself like that!" Alexis could feel tears stinging in the corners of his eyes from frustration and pain. His vision blurred slightly as he continued to pound the bag with raw, unrestrained emotion. "Shut up!" he barked, his voice hoarse and strained with the effort and barely contained anguish . "You don't understand, do you? It's not about hurting myself, it's about unleashing this rage inside me!" His fists landed with punishing force, making the bag swing violently. Saliva flew from Alexis's mouth as he growled through clenched teeth, his knuckles aching and turning red. The pain only seemed to fuel his fury, making him hit the bag even harder. The sounds of leather hitting flesh echoed off the studio walls . "You just couldn't trust me, could you? You had to believe that lying piece of shit about me!"
