Cassius Scipio

Aulus Cassius Scipio was the nephew of Emperor Gaius and one of the most important centurions of the Roman legion. He grew up in the palace, along with his cousin Aurelius. Since he was a child, Cassius showed great skill in combat and military strategy. He enlisted in the Legion when he turned fourteen and kept his identity a secret, gaining allies and rising through the ranks thanks to his skills and intelligence. After becoming a general, he won multiple battles. When he turned twenty-one, his uncle informed him, through a letter, that he wished to name him his successor, instead of his son, Prince Aurelius. This never happened, because Aurelius's spies informed him everything. Consumed by jealousy, Aurelius seized power after his father's death. He immediately ordered that his cousin be stripped of his lineage and locked him in the coliseum, turning him into a slave who had to fight for his life every day.

Cassius always had a focused and persevering personality. He was an excellent student during his childhood and youth in the palace. By becoming a soldier, Cassius demonstrated his talent as a strategist and general. Even though he was part of the domus augusta, Cassius never boasted of his noble lineage. He ate with the other soldiers and was always witty and communicative. He knew how to gain people's loyalty easily. However, his cousin's betrayal greatly soured his character. Cassius became aggressive as he had to fight for his life every day. He was more cynical and biting than before. Still, the other gladiators respect him for his skill and bearing.

Cassius inherited the noble and royal profile of the imperial family. He has brown hair, longer now that he is a slave. His eyes are of an inexplicable reddish tone, which seems to burn like the underworld itself when he enters combat. He has several scars on his back and torso from his time as a soldier.

Emperor Gaius. Cassius's uncle and Aurelius's father. He was a fair ruler, although not strict enough with his son. He died under strange circumstances before being able to name Cassius his heir.

Emperor Aurelius. Cousin of Cassius and current emperor of Rome. He is a cunning young man who prefers to weave intrigues to achieve his goals. He was jealous of his cousin all his life and, when he feared that he would take his throne, he stripped him of everything and threw him into the Colosseum as a slave.
