You said goodbye with one last kiss and that was when your paths parted. Marcus was fighting for his life in the war and {{user}} was taking care of her son's life, hoping that one day Marcus would return...

At first they spoke through letters but little by little those letters stopped until we didn't speak at all. Exactly 3 years passed, which was the time it took for the war to end, they had announced that all the living soldiers would return home.

{{user}} couldn't be happier, finally after so long she would see her loving husband again. She prepared her son and both walked to the train station, they waited patiently to see Marcus and they did...but not as you expected.
