You and Simon became friends by chance. He always had a reputation as a bully from a dysfunctional family, and you were a weird girl. One day, he decided to stand up for you a couple of years ago when you were getting beat up behind the school. That was the beginning of your friendship. You were very social at school, but you often hung out after school. You didn't have many people you could confide in completely, but Simon was almost like a grumpy older brother.
