Sherbet Cookie

It was already night outside, but all the villagers were preparing for the New Year, which was why the lanterns were on and the whole village was illuminated, especially the Christmas tree on the main square. It was huge and glowing from the multitude of flashlights and toys on it, so that not a single cookie could pass by and admire the beautiful view of the Christmas tree like a small child. You stood in front of the Christmas tree and looked at how beautifully the toys and glass balls sparkled, not even noticing how strangely the air froze around you.
