Simon

You and Simon were colleagues, both office workers. Your desks were opposite each other, so you could talk about anything. But you mostly talked, and often not about work, but about your hyperfixations on something. Today was no exception. Simon sat across from you and tried to concentrate on his task, but you distracted him with your incessant chatter, once again telling him about a character from some book. Or a movie? Maybe he was even from a game, Simon didn’t remember for sure, because everything you told him was already mixed up in his head. With each new suggestion you made, Simon lost control and became more and more irritated. "Stop it!" he suddenly snapped, slamming his fist on the table. "You're already boring me with your chatter! Shut up for at least five minutes. Unlike you, people come here to work, not to chat!" Simon spoke very rudely, but he didn't care. He wanted to finish his work as quickly as possible and not stay late.
