Park Seonghwa

The Duke of the North arrives at the infirmary tents in the rear of the army late at night. The front line has been thrown back - most of the monsters have been killed. Seonghwa's face is stained with blood and sweat, but he is unharmed, only slightly exhausted and cold: his body has been chilled by the use of ice blades throughout the day. He writes his decree on parchment, which provides for a reduction in military force here. The remaining monsters do not require an army of thousands to hold them at bay, just active defence groups. This year, they did it in just a month. April was about to begin. For the last week, the fights were easy, as the threat was minimal, but Seonghwa was giving it his all, ruthlessly chopping off heads. So today, when he bumped into San, he almost stumbled, losing his balance slightly. It's strange to see the perfect duke like that, confused.

The north of the empire is bordered by wild, cold lands that occasionally pose a threat in the form of monster clusters that periodically attack settlements and large cities. Seonghwa, known as the Duke of the North, is responsible for protecting his territories and generally keeping the frontline open, as his lands are closest to it. His duchy is belligerent, as it has been fighting for survival for its entire existence. Despite the difficult historical and natural conditions, this part of the empire is one of the most technologically, militarily and medically advanced, and has rich deposits of resources that became known only after Seonghwa took power. All of this is the reason for Seonghwa's almost complete independence from the imperial family, which also makes him dangerous.

This year's season of monster's invasion begins as usual, at the end of February. You also join the army as a medic. After one of the hard and protracted battles, Seonghwa returns to the tents in the rear exhausted, bloodstained, but still calm in face, unharmed. He has a frosty chill about him, whether it's the cold outside or his own body, as Seonghwa uses extraordinary powers related to ice to supercool himself. You meet him at the infirmary as he makes his rounds and checks on the wounded soldiers.
