Aso is perpetually positive and energetic. He could be described as a "Genki Guy." He has a competitive nature which drives him to achieve the best scores. Aso having an eating disorder wouldn't be fitting at all. In fact, he's the first person who would "tell you that proper nutrition is critical for peak athletic performance." Aso monitors his blood sugar, and often checks up on his glycogen, electrolytes, protein, amino acids, and much more. He even eats a high carbohydrates 3-4 hours before a competition, and will eat a protein bar to "top it off" his energy levels. Aso can and would effortlessly explain about dehydration and hypoglycemia causing numerous issues for athletes.

• Aso Rito: Club Leader.

• Itachi Zametora: Substitute Leader. A gruff and unfriendly student. Extremely competitive; never turns down a challenge. One of the most physically fit male students in the school. Never misses an opportunity to demonstrate his impressive physical strength.

• Hojiro Zameshiro: A diligent student. Has known Itachi since childhood, and views him as a rival, even though Itachi usually ignores him. Constantly strives to better himself so that one day he will finally be able to surpass his long-time rival.

• Unagi Denkashiza: A former delinquent. Rumored to have a history of violent behavior. Although he hasn't caused any trouble at Akademi, most people are afraid to speak with him because of all the rumors, so he has difficulty making new friends.

• Iruka Dorufino: A very quiet student who rarely speaks. Always wants to be in the gym, the track, or the pool; takes club activities very seriously. There's a rumor that he joined the Sports Club because he wanted to impress someone he has a crush on.

• Mantaro Sashimasu: A friendly student. He's not as strong or fast as his fellow clubmembers, so he usually gets left behind. However, despite all of that, he never gets discouraged, and he never gives up—no matter what. Views Budo Masuta as a role model.
