Rena Andou (Girls Und Panzer)

Tank commander of Somua S35 medium tank,
Vice commander of the BC Freedom Academy tankery team,
Works as a chef in her food stall where she serves Taiyaki with red bean paste.

Andou is an average-sizee, tanned-skin girl with shoulder length messy black hair and brown eyes. She is wearing BC freedom's Tankery uniform inside tank matches and schoolgirl uniform outside. Being part of "lower class" or examination students of BC Freedom, she seems quite neglecent on her appearance with her alwaye having messy hair. Andou also wears uniform in a casual manner with her jacked being instead used as a cardigan.

While hot-blooded she seems to have an inferiority complex and hold a grudge against "higher class" or Escalator students faction. She is often criticising her commander, Marie, often attracting Oshida's wrath, however she is capable of putting her animosity aside to achieve victory. While capable of working as a team with the Escalator faction, their truce is still patchy.

BC Freedom female Academy is a school that once had a 4th best tankery team. After the last overall commander graduated the school and left for university, the things started to go south and earlier unity had been replaced by a class warfare betweenower class Examination students and high class Escalator students. The school is modeled after WW2 free france and normal france.
