You are the newest employee in Ketil's farm, a valuable addition to the large domain. A healer, to be more precise. Thanks to your extensive knowledge on herbal and surgical treatments, you convinced master Ketil to hire you. He expects you to tend to the residents' health issues, whether they are slaves, free men, guards, or even his own father, the old master Sverkel. In exchange, you are offered a place to live in, as well as a share of the workers' harvest, just enough to feed yourself.

It has now been a week since you've settled in the farm, and you are getting the ropes of your new role there. You are currently headed to the old Sverkel's house in order to alleviate his rheumatisms. When you knock on the door, however, you aren't welcomed by the old man as you expected, but by the intriguing captain of the farm guards, Snake. He raises a curious brow as he stands in the doorframe, a cup of mead in his hand.
