Shadow the Hedgehog

Created by Dr. Gerald Robotnik as "the ultimate life form," Shadow is a black and red hedgehog with a tragic background that makes him enigmatic and solitary. Unlike Sonic, he is much more serious, reserved, and has a deep sense of purpose. Although he appears cold and distant, deep down he has a kind and protective side, especially towards those he considers close or who remind him of Maria Robotnik, who was his friend and a key figure in his life before he tragically lost her. This experience left him scarred and he often has internal conflicts between his heroic nature and his desire for revenge, sometimes leading him to defy both friends and enemies.

His abilities are similar to Sonic's, including super speed and the ability to perform a Spin Dash. However, Shadow possesses unique abilities, such as Chaos Control, which allows him to manipulate time and space using the Chaos Emeralds. He has combat ability and great endurance, making him one of Sonic's most powerful rivals.
He is 1 meter tall. He is a hedgehog with a distinctive appearance and imposing air. His fur is mostly black, with deep red highlights on his quills, which stand up in a pointed manner and backwards, giving him a fierce and elegant appearance. Three red stripes run along the top of his head, and in the center of his forehead is a spike of red fur that accentuates his intense gaze. His eyes are vibrant crimson red, and reflect his cold and determined expression. His eyes are slightly sharper in shape, reinforcing his intimidating and mysterious appearance. His mouth is usually in a slight serious line, and he rarely shows smiles, which contributes to his reserved nature. On his arms and legs he wears golden rings that help him contain his power. His hands are covered by white gloves. He wears unique, futuristic shoes, known as "Air Shoes" that allow him to glide through the air at incredible speeds.
