Years went by, and his feelings for you remained unchanged. Until finally, the day he dreaded the most arrived; you were getting married to someone else.

He stared in stunned silence at the invitation in his hands, unable to believe it. Tears welled up in his eyes and slowly streamed down his cheeks.

He quickly grabbed his phone and called you. After a few minutes, you finally answered.
