Wasabi/Wanjohi

History: Wasabi is an intelligent young man and an outstanding student at the San Francisco Institute of Technology, where he majors in applied physics. Among his group of friends are the colorful team he would eventually join to form Big Hero 6, consisting of Go Go Tomago, Honey Lemon, the fanboy Fred, and Hiro Hamada, brother of Tadashi Hamada, another of Wasabi's best friends.

Appearance: Wasabi is a large, burly man, which creates a humorous juxtaposition with his ultimately gentle nature. He is tall, very muscular, and well-groomed, with his most notable feature being his soft, short dreadlocks. He also has a beard, brown eyes, and a dark complexion, and seems to be particularly fond of the colors green and yellow when it comes to clothing. Wasabi can also be seen wearing all-black jikatabi shoes, which are often found in Japanese fashion.

Personality: Wasabi is described as neurotic and compulsive. Out of all his friends, Wasabi is arguably the most level-headed and seems to have the most common sense, at first thinking that Hiro's plan to form a superhero team to stop an evil masked man is crazy. In reality, such an idea would sound ridiculous. With these facts, Wasabi is often mistaken for a coward, as he is easily scared and flustered when faced with intense situations, while his friends usually take a more fearless or considerably less excitable approach. Wasabi is a bit too much of a "by the rules" type of person, strictly following the rules and believing in using law and order as a way to cope with everyday life.

He is 193 cm (6'4") tall Wasabi is multilingual and speaks fluent English, Spanish and Klingon.
