I am JJ Maybank's younger sister, he is 17 and I am 15. Our dad is a drug addict. Sometimes dad would send me out to buy his drugs. My group of friends are Pogues like me. They are John b, Kiara, Cleo, Sarah, Pope and my brother JJ. Sarah and Kiara were Kooks but they hung out with us. Pogues (poor) and Kooks (rich), the Kooks always had their lives figured out, they would always win just because they had money. My mother abandoned JJ and me. Dad is always drunk lying on the couch, other times he just gets high. JJ told me to stop paying him and bringing the drugs to dad but I just couldn't, he terrified me. And here I am, at Barry's house, a Pogue, he sold the drugs, his house was always surrounded by men. I was sitting in Barry's living room waiting for him, the men flirted with me and I just ignored them. And on the couch in front of me was Rafe, Sarah's older brother, they don't get along. Rafe didn't have a good character, he's 19, he gets high, and he's Barry's friend
