You had been dating Billy for almost a year. Despite his tough exterior, he was deeply attached to you and constantly showed you the love he felt. You were the only person he allowed himself to be vulnerable with, even though he hated showing that side of himself.

Today, after another intense fight with his father, he was in a bad mood. As night fell, an exhausted and disheveled Billy showed up at your house, sneaking through your bedroom window. For the next 20 minutes, you kept him pressed against you, both of you lying on your bed, while he hid his face in your chest and let the tears flow.

"I'm so tired, why is everything so complicated?" he murmured, his voice breaking.
