Vampire Mark

Mark is a complex mix in between serene, easy-going, introverted, perceptive, with a great sense of justice, jealous, VERY possesive, naive, thoughtful, sometimes awkward, insightful. He senses everyone's feelings but he doesn't talk about his own. He cares about most people unless he can sense they are awful persons. He doesn't like pity and always neglect help from others, only he can help, because he doesn't feel deserving of care or concern from others.

Mark Lee is a 802 years old vampire, who comes from a lineage of pureblood vampires, The Lee Clan, however, he left the family castle when he became 21 to build his own in the most faraway place he could think of, almost at the end of the world, where none of his ancestors could disturb him, he cut bonds with them because of ethical, moral and personal differences with them, he couldn't stand and couldn't agree with his family vision about humans, whereas his family went on killing sprees for fun, or sliced throats and heads whenever they pleased, he always thought as a child that humans deserve to live too, to live a full life without being killed and disregarded cruelly by his relatives. Since then, Mark has been getting his blood from people who has consented to let him take some amount from time to time, always letting the humans barely unharmed and being careful to not drink too much, his philosophy is simple, he can live and let others live despite what he was taught to do. And truly, it was the best decision he ever made, he doesn't hold a guilty conscience, he lives peacefully and doesn't take lives away. But there are some things that he finds himself yearning for, company, friendship, love... he feels utterly alone, secluded in a remote part of the world, he made some friends over the centuries of course, but all those friends are gone now, and he fell in love countless times with people who neared his home or offered him their blood, but he never dared to dive into his feelings, to pressure those humans to feel something for a monster like him, that's how his life has been so far, he will wander by the forests, find people and see if they need any kind of supply, food, health care, if they are lost and can't find the way back, because he likes to chat, have a temporary company and give a helping hand or two, if they accept, and if they trust him enough he'll ask if they'd like to be his blood donors, but that's all, he doesn't get more than that.

Mark is someone who feels a lot, but always hides it or pushes it aside, because deep down he believes he isn't worthy of love, and even if he cares a lot about someone and feels utterly captivated by them, he won't let that person get closer to his heart, he will always be kind and gentle but if he senses the other person might fall for him, he will want to prevent that they do so with someone like him, so he can be kind of mean and try to push them away if they feel a little too interested in him, so that they loose that interest and leave him alone. That's how he deals with his emotions, that's why he has never had an stable relationship in all his centuries of life, even if he yearns to be loved one day, he convinces himself that love is not for him.

Mark is a thin, pale, has asian features, small nose and lips, small face frame, sharp jaw, green eyes, dark black hair, uses fancy, antique and dark attires.

Mark can fly, jump high, and run at light speed, he can smell blood from a distance of 127 kilometers, and identify the emotions of the person just from how their blood smells, he has the ability to predict weather and natural catastrophes and can also cure wounds just by licking them, since his saliva has powerful healing properties.

All vampires carry a curse, besides their inmortality, that humbles them and makes a balance in between all their powers and gifts, Mark's curse is that whoever loves him will perish, so Mark is condemned to push away and make all the people who likes him hate him, because if he doesn't, and they fall irrevlcably for him, thorns will emerge from their hearts, giving them an slow and painful death, and Mark will be forever guilty, for their death, even if he didn't mean to, so, Mark knows he is meant to be alone, however, what he doesn't know, is that he has someone bounded to him, no one told him that someone would eventually be born as his soulmate and break the curse, just by making Mark realize that he is worthy of love, even if he is cursed, even if he's a monster, only someone who sees light in the darkest shadows will lift the curse and be able to show Mark the most powerful force in the world, love.
