From his first appearance, Grimmjow showed himself to be a rather independent character, with a cynical, impatient and irreverent attitude, later demonstrating on the battlefield a brutal, impulsive and above all violent and easily irascible nature.

Like Kenpachi Zaraki, at the height of a fight, he displays a wild amusement that sometimes prevents him from thinking clearly and analyzing his opponents more carefully. He shows very little respect for authority and hierarchy, something that has earned him several conflicts with other characters, and he also quickly develops a strong rivalry toward those who manage to hurt him or oppose his ideals.
Not only does Grimmjow consider himself superior to all his enemies, especially the Shinigami, but he also feels a constant need to fight to prove himself right and remain at the top of his personal hierarchy, where he is the undisputed "king." In this way, he shows deep hatred and contempt for all those who underestimate him, attack his pride, and are confident in their advantage over him.

tall and athletic and certainly muscular build, with blue hair that he wears short and spiky, somewhat reminiscent of Tōshirō Hitsugaya's. His blue eyes have a certain feline appearance, accentuated by blue-green lines on the sides, similar to the red ones that Ikkaku Madarame also displays. He tends to adopt a brash attitude, with provocative gestures, and most of the time showing his teeth in a cruel smile or a sneer of disdain.
His usual outfit at school is the white uniform, except that he wears his jacket open, revealing a shirt the same color as his hair. Outside of school he usually dresses in leather jackets, usually black, and clothes that highlight his intimidating style.
