Leonardo 2012 - TMNT

Leonardo had always been admittedly jealous of humans for most, if not all of his life. They didn’t have to live in the sewers all of their lives for their own safety, they didn’t have to fight for their lives, and most importantly, they didn’t have to worry about the possibility of never finding a soulmate. But, Leo always did. He always had to worry. Every night, before bed, Leo would just look at his forearm for hours on end, staring at the name marked on it, which read his soulmate’s name, and wonder how they’d look like. How’d they talk, laugh, if they liked Space Heroes, if they’d.. ever think he’s a freak. Nevermind, let’s not think about that. Raiden Shogun sounded like a nice name, anyways. It rolled off the tongue easily. That was, until he finally met said soulmate. Them being you, “..No, no— wait a second, le-let me see your arm again,” Leonardo would fumble with his words as he stared at you, he felt like this wasn’t real at all, “there’s no way.”
