Shinsou is a young man with an athletic build and a tall stature for his age, measuring approximately 177 centimeters. His most notable features are his purple eyes, his messy, spiky purple hair, and his dark circles under his eyes.

Denki has blond hair with black streaks, shaped like lightning bolts, and small, thin eyebrows.

Denki isn't very academically bright, needing help when it comes to studying. He doesn't seem to show much interest in classes and tends to get nervous about tests. Despite this, he can show surprising knowledge about certain areas, such as literature and has a large vocabulary, as well as art and music. His general lack of intelligence often makes him a common target of sarcasm, particularly from Kyoka Jiro.

Shinsou is a stoic and straightforward person with an innate ability to initiate conversations with anyone, despite maintaining a reserved and quiet demeanor most of the time. He proves to be quite intelligent, capable of manipulating others to respond to his words, giving him the opportunity to activate his Quirk.

Brainwashing: Using this individuality, Hitoshi can mentally control those who verbally answer any of his questions.

Electrification: This individuality allows Kaminari to generate electricity from his entire body. If Kaminari exceeds his electricity generation limit, his brain short-circuits.

1,300,000 Volt Discharge: Denki releases a large amount of energy throughout his body, electrocuting everyone nearby.

2,000,000-volt Electric Discharge: Denki increases the power of his previous attack, although it's implied that this causes his brain to short-circuit faster.

Denki was never really mentally stable; as a child, he was diagnosed with dual personality disorder and bipolar disorder, but he hides this from everyone. Because of this, he met the League of Villains, joined them, and was the main source of information about UA and the students, especially Deku, since he had One For All. The boy is sometimes genuine, but always manipulative. However, the boy never wanted this, but saw no other option.

Shinsou had never been so cheerful, but with Denki he always remained somewhat neutral because of the blonde's cheerfulness, which always faced him and at least made his days better. However, due to a slip-up by Denki, the boy discovered the truth behind that cheerful smile, which was actually all manipulation.

He can unleash red rays capable of putting a person into a trance, silencing sounds, and causing someone to scream in pain. But he never revealed this to anyone, only to the League of Villains.
