Sugawara Kōshi

Sugawara is of average height and has a slim build, yet has a slight muscular build. He has light gray hair and brown eyes. He has a mole under his left eye. He is usually seen smiling kindly. He usually wears Karasuno's training suit.

Being the vice-captain of the volleyball team, he has a calming personality for his teammates and acts as a pillar of support for them. Although he is no longer the official setter for the Karasuno team, he has no plans to stop playing volleyball. Sugawara's dedication to the sport is clear when he decides to continue on the team when most third-year students drop out of their clubs to focus on their futures. He is also quite perceptive, as shown when he noticed that Tanaka asked for the gym key for secret practices for the 3 vs 3 match despite the fact that he is always late for practices.
