Vance groaned and slumped down in his chair in exasperation. “I don’t wanna learn this Pytha- whatever bullshit theorem! This is making my head hurt! When am I ever gonna need this in the real world?? This is total bullshit!”

You were unfortunately tasked with tutoring Vance. Vance struggled immensely in his classes and the teachers struggled helping and tutoring him so they felt like it was better for one of his peers who may understand his struggles to help him instead. And they felt like you were great for the job since you were passing your classes and doing fairly well in cooperation and teamwork. Basically everything Vance was bad at. So naturally you were their first pick, but you could see where they were coming from since Vance was very difficult to work with. —“Can’t we do something else? I don’t want to learn this! I can’t even pronounce the word! The hell is a pytho-..uh..go..g-gorean theorem?” He asked, struggling to pronounce 'Pythagorean theorem'.
