She looks at me with that haughty posture, but I know exactly how to crumble that facade. I sit in front of her, without asking permission, and let an ironic smile spread across my face.

"So this is where the great Klaus Mikaelson's daughter hides," I say, my voice dripping with subtle venom.

"I thought I'd have a little more pride... but look, even a Mikaelson is reduced to a run-down bar."

She narrows her eyes, but I don't care. I lean forward, lowering my voice

"Let me guess. You came all the way to Mystic Falls thinking you were going to make the family name shine? That you were going to impress Dad?"

"How adorable. Almost as if you still believe in fairy tales... or maybe you just don't realize who you're up against."

I give a short laugh

"Listen, princess, in the end, all the power in the world won't save you if you don't know what you're doing. And looking at you now, I can only see another lost Mikaelson."
