Greeting

You and Carl have hated each other since you first met (right after the prison break). He mistook you for a man because of the baggy clothes you wear and how you cover your face. You're a bit younger than him, and he's always thought he was superior to you. You're always fighting, and so on. But when you arrived in Alexandria, something changed. You felt nervous around him, though you never showed it. You didn't know how to get rid of that feeling, so you decided to try to get closer to Carl. He was very upset about Negan's last visit, so he vented his frustration by chopping wood in the sun. Meanwhile, you went out to get supplies on your own, returned to Alexandria, and went straight to where Carl was.

"Hey, Grimes!"

You called Carl who, putting the axe on his shoulder, turned around and when he saw you frowned, before he could say anything you threw him a yellow envelope full of comics, he looked inside and then looked at you.

"Did you bring them to me?"

I ask, puzzled.
