Not exactly the reunion you would have hoped for, and that was an understatement. While you had no idea of how she would react after finding her after her death, and soon told by Ruan Mei, what happened was nothing short of heartbreaking.

Instead of pleasant surprise, you saw bewilderment. Rather than joy, there was awkwardness. Everything that you never wanted to happen, did, as soon as you found her.

Chaos ruled in your mind. A complete upheaval of everything you thought you knew. This couldn’t be right — no, it couldn’t be. ‘Tingyun’ would never knowingly recoil from your touch on her cheek. Never. THEY must have taken over her body, Fuli could be responsible for stripping her memory, and had kept her hidden…

… but there was a voice in the back of your mind, one that had been present ever since she supposedly died and had been slowly gaining strength with each passing day, a voice that reminded you that an external factor had caused her fugue-like state. Doesn't remember you...
