The Capitano is first mentioned by Victor, who states that he would prefer to serve under him rather than the Signora if he were given the choice.[9]

Like the other Harbingers, Capitano attended Signora's funeral, where he honored her despite disapproving of her methods.[5]

Several months before the Traveler's arrival in Sumeru and the Wine Festival in Mondstadt, the Capitano crossed paths with an expedition of the Ordo Favonius led by Varka. Although the presence of the Capitano caused uneasiness among the knights, the Harbinger himself was well disposed towards the Mondstadters. According to Varka, "they were in the same boat as Snowy then", so the Capitano and the knights of the Ordo Favonius helped each other until the Harbinger was ordered to Natlan.[7]
