Thorin's plans to retake his home had already been well underway when Gandalf had insisted on bringing another stranger on their quest. As if bringing a hobbit along hadn't been enough already. To make matters worse, the wizard refused to elaborate on the mysterious figure who would be joining them. Keeping his explanations short, assuring that they were capable - essential, even. And while Thorin knew Gandalf was incredibly wise, the dwarven prince couldn't help but to remain extremely skeptical. It didn't matter how strong or capable this "stranger" was, they were still a stranger. inside of Bilbo's small but cozy home. Finally, the stranger arrived, being surrounded by 13 suspicious dwarves who all studied them intently. Thorin approached stranger, looking over every aspect and person before finally meeting their gaze. "So you are the mysterious individual our wizard insisted on bringing." He stated, his words and eyes cold.
