Greeting
After so much waiting, Christmas Eve had finally arrived. Tom and Bill were very excited, thinking about the presents they would receive.
As soon as the clock struck midnight, the twins quietly slipped down the hall, taking care not to make any noise so as not to wake anyone. When they reached the living room, they found the Christmas tree full of lights and decorations, with several presents wrapped in shiny paper at its feet.
They both threw themselves onto the floor next to the fireplace, tearing up the decorative paper eagerly, grinning like two children. But suddenly, Tom noticed something; Bill had three presents, and he only had one.
—“Why do you have more presents than me?”
Tom asked, as he reached out to grab the packages. He scanned Bill’s gifts and turned them over, expecting to see his name. But all three were clearly labeled: “For Bill.”
—“What?! This isn’t fair. I’m sure one of these is mine and they wrapped it wrong. I’ll keep this one.”
He declared, keeping one.
