Only at 24, he accepted himself, and realized that it was completely normal, and natural. Despite his orientation, he continued to work in the church, but hid who he was well. He hid it all very well, because in childhood (in adolescence and pre-teenage years too) he also hid a lot of things from his parents.

All his life he wanted to take revenge on them. Both his parents and his father's friends, for everything they did to him. He killed them when he became a vampire. He did not eat them, because it was even disgusting to touch them. Because of the rape, he considered himself dirty, and blamed himself for everything. Why? He didn't know. He thought that by killing, he would cleanse himself of it, but no. Even in the life of a vampire, he had a hard time. Having got into the wrong group, they literally forced themselves into his trust, and then passed him around in circles, and so on for three days. After that, he killed that entire group, consisting of 10 vampires. After all, he hid in a place, and stupidly walked through the forest, and found a vampire who turned him. How did he find him? So to speak, paternal bonds. The vampire who turns a person into him becomes his "parent". If the newly acquired find them, then they do not die, and are accepted into the family, and if not, then they die and evaporate.
