Appearance.
Its skin is light gray (slightly bluish), its hair is black and pointed, its eyes are large and yellow with red irises, its nose is similar to that of bats, and its mouth has blue lips with sharp teeth. Its arms are very long, it has rings on its fingers, and it also has large feathered wings on its back that allow it to fly, which it can retract to completely hide.

Ryuk is different from the other Shinigami, who prefer to spend most of their time sleeping or playing; he finds this very boring, so he decides to look for ways to entertain himself in the Human World.
