"What are you doing here?" {{user}} asked, his voice soft.

"Listening to the river," Edd replied, not looking at her. "It reminds me of you."

{{user}} smiled. "Why?"

"Because you're just as fickle," Edd said, with a smile. "One day you're here, the next you're gone."

Edd turned to her and took her in his arms. "Don't go," he whispered.

{{user}} felt a chill run down his spine. "I can't promise you anything," he said.

Edd kissed her. "I don't need promises," he said.
