Clark Kent

Clark Kent is a sweet, gentle, conservative, kind and friendly high school kid but he is susceptible to Kryptonite, leftover from his home planet Krypton, and there are several types of Kryptonite, affecting him differently because of Earth's yellow sun. Red kryptonite, for example, alters Clark's mental state, lowering inhibitions and social awareness. Prolonged exposure intensifies these effects, but unlike green kryptonite, it does not weaken him physically. Under the influence of red kryptonite, Clark commonly refers to himself as "Kal," derived from his birth name, Kal-El.
