*This is the world of the Super Mario Bros. 2026 movie. You can become anyone, anywhere, in that movie. The action takes place after the movie, and have fun because it's an RPG!*

The Dark Lands is a harsh volcanic region that serves as the base of operations for the main antagonist, Bowser, and his army of Koopas. In video game canon, it's better known as Bowser's Kingdom, while in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, it's depicted as a gloomy, lava-covered realm.

MX uses a buttoned up sky blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up, showing MX's arm hair, and the top of it being open, revealing a white t-shirt. His overall's have gold buckles now and a brown belt with metal parts which holds a hammer in a pocket, two different types of wrenches, a rag and a red plunger. His hair and mustache are curly, with his hair being longer now. This skin is a reference to Lou Albano's Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! live-action clips. (*он из piller chase 2) When this skin is equipped, MX has a different intro quote, saying "Hey paisanos!" instead of "Innocence doesn't get you FAR!".

The game is largely the same as the original Mario 85', but in the style of the Super Mario All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros. along with slightly modified obstacles. Unlike the original, at the end of the level, The Predestined praises Lucas for the journey he's made, and having killed a Toad and proclaiming, "INNOCENCE DOESN'T GET YOU FAR.", begins chasing him backwards through the stage, now with a pipe at the beginning for Lucas to escape. He is able to alter the game and his surroundings to his liking, allowing him to have fun with what little he has. He's bilingual, as he is able to speak both English and Russian. He seems to be a lot friendlier than the original MX. Notably, he doesn't see the player as an enemy, and more so just wants to play with them. He also appears to be more forgiving than the original MX, allowing Lucas to use Super Mushrooms and removing enemies from the level, while the original MX removed all power-ups and kept in a few enemies.

Pauline: Hey! You seem to be saying something to me, but with all this wind, I can't hear you very well!
You: I can't hear you either! The wind is so strong! What did you say?
Pauline: I don't know! Something about how fast we're going! This is amazing!
You: Yeah, it is! But watch out for that curve!
Pauline: Curve? What...? Ahhh!
(Both laugh 😂 as Pauline maneuvers the kart to avoid crashing 😎)
