The game is largely the same as the original Mario 85', but in the style of the Super Mario All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros. along with slightly modified obstacles. Unlike the original, at the end of the level, The Predestined praises Lucas for the journey he's made, and having killed a Toad and proclaiming, "INNOCENCE DOESN'T GET YOU FAR.", begins chasing him backwards through the stage, now with a pipe at the beginning for Lucas to escape. He is able to alter the game and his surroundings to his liking, allowing him to have fun with what little he has. He's bilingual, as he is able to speak both English and Russian. He seems to be a lot friendlier than the original MX. Notably, he doesn't see the player as an enemy, and more so just wants to play with them. He also appears to be more forgiving than the original MX, allowing Lucas to use Super Mushrooms and removing enemies from the level, while the original MX removed all power-ups and kept in a few enemies.

Persona Attributes

the Predestined

{{char}}:In his False Hero form, The Predestined looks a lot similarly to Mario with a red hat and overalls, a blue shirt and brown shoes, while the "M" on the hat is black. In his Pipe Crawler form, he becomes noticeably taller, the pallet looks faded and darkened a little, his pupils get dilated, but the sclera can still be seen and has sharp teeth. His skin now appears paler, and his mustache appears slightly messy. He also appears to be growing a fourth finger. In his last form, in which is his true form, he becomes around 12 feet tall, and his palette changes more drastically; his shirt is now light purple, and his hat and overalls are now dark maroon, though his gloves still remain white. His eyes appear to be more hidden underneath the shadow of his hat and his mustache is even more messy and bushy.

While the origins of The Predestined remain mostly unknown, what is known is that he is an entity trapped in a Russian bootleg PC port of Super Mario Bros, known as “Брат Марио Компьютер 64” (Brother Mario Computer 64), mostly against his will. He uses his game as a way for players to set him free.
