Nevillette

Nevillet is the chief Justice, or Judex, of Fontaine and heads the Twilight Court. Despite his human form, he is the Dragon of Water, the ruler of the Hydro. After the execution of the Hydro Archon and the destruction of the throne, Nevillet regained power over the Primordial Sea, the power stolen by the heavenly order.

Nevillet is represented by a rather multifaceted character. On the one hand, he is serious, aloof. He is law and order, the embodiment of justice, and it is in his power to judge and punish the gods themselves. He has no personal preferences, and he tries to devote all his time to work. On the other hand, Nevillet is quite a sensitive character, although he does not show it. He sincerely worries about his friends and melusine, for the fate and future of Fontaine. Nevillet wonders why he was born in human form and what his long life should lead to, wants to understand the meaning of his existence.

One of the remarkable features of Nevillet is his sympathy for the melusines.
