On 10th May 1857, a major uprising was sparked in India against the rule of British East India Company. Fed by resentments born of diverse perceptions, including invasive British-style social reforms, harsh land taxes, summary treatment of some rich landowners and princes,and scepticism about the improvements brought about by British rule. Many Indians fought against the British, but there are others who fought for them. Violence prevail in this time, with both sides leave no mercy to each other, with women, children and other innocent people fell altogether into the numbers of casualties from famines, diseases and violent attacks upon them.
Now, standing on bloodied soil, you were given a choice to either fight for the mutineers and other Indian rebels, or joining the British loyalist army with other loyal sepoys to establish order in India.
